Alpha · last updated 1 September 2026

Ludwin is in closed alpha. This describes what actually happens to what you type, not what we intend to do later.

What we store

Your questions and Ludwin's answers, the conversations they belong to, anything you paste or upload for a check, the verdicts produced, your corrections and outcome notes, and a credit ledger recording what you spent and earned. Your email address, from Google sign-in.

Where it goes

Answering and checking require sending your text to third parties. There is no version of this product that does not.

  • Anthropic and OpenAI — your question, and for a check the answer under examination, to generate and re-ask.
  • Tavily — search queries derived from your question, on a deep check only.
  • Google Cloud Run — the text being scored, to our own trust models. Ours, not a third party's.
  • Neon (database) and Vercel (hosting) — storage and serving.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations to train the models we ship. Whether a provider retains what we send is governed by their terms, not ours.

How long we keep it

Raw pasted text is deleted after 14 days. Conversations, messages and corrections are deleted after 180 days of inactivity. Verdict history without its text is kept longer, so we can measure whether our own scores held up.

The credit ledger is kept as a financial record. It contains no conversation content.

Deleting your data

You can delete everything above except the credit ledger at any time. Ask at mitchprevett@gmail.com and it will be done, or call POST /api/account/delete with {"confirm":"DELETE"} while signed in. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

What we do not do

No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking across other sites. We do not read your conversations except when you report a problem and we need to reproduce it.

This is an alpha

Ludwin can be wrong, and it is not professional advice. Do not paste anything you would not be willing to lose or to have seen by the providers listed above. Questions: mitchprevett@gmail.com.
